Nishan Sahib is the Sikh holy flag made of cotton or silk and generally triangular
in shape, with a tassel at its end. The word Nishan Sahib means symbol and the
flag is hosted on a tall flag pole outside all Gurudwara Sahibs in India and Abroad.
The flag pole itself covered with fabric ends with a two edged (Dagger) Khanda
on the Top.
